Peloton Homecoming 2022

360 Campaign
Role: Design Director

We produced Peloton’s Homecoming 2022, the largest virtual at-home fitness event of the year. Featuring fitness classes, keynotes, and product announcements, we delivered a two-day livestream event across global markets. Our production spanned NYC and the UK, incorporating instructors, executives, and pre-recorded material into a seamless event for Peloton members worldwide.

We produced the full event and marketing program, including the visual identity, global video capture, executive keynotes, round table content, presentation material and pre-recorded material leading up to the two-day virtual event. We designed and shot on two sets in NYC and the UK, each with four cameras for the livestream . We then captured other instructors, guests and executives remotely, incorporating them into the show.

A total of 27 participants joined across two continents, streaming approximately five hours each day in three languages (English, German and Spanish). Using the platform Hopin, we created an interactive space for the audience, bridging the gap between pre-produced content, a live show, and viewer participation.

My role as Senior Creative consisted of leading MALKA MEDIA’s entire design team on Peloton’s HOMECOMING 2022 Graphics Package for the live keynote as well as leading the design on all marketing assets that came along with the event. At MALKA MEDIA I perpetuated a constant on-going dialogue and relationship with PELOTON (the client) to execute the live events deadline. This was a 360 branding campaign that included social, email, apparel, user interface for web, mobile and app, printed collateral, spotify playlists design with Fleetwood Mac, concept storyboarding and wire frame design.

The single and only piece of reference we had from the client, which we then built an entire 360 marketing campaign from

Travel the world and meet the startups that are not only shaping the future of technology but of life on earth. Hosted by Amazon CTO Dr. Werner Vogels, “Now Go Build” explores the innovative, inspiring and unexpected big ideas that are making our world more accessible, livable, and fascinating. Episode 5 coming soon...

My focus in this project was designing the concept, wireframes, iconography and creative directing the animation for the higher level technology explanations (at minutes 7:58 and 9:00). Bouncing off fluid ideas and conversations with the AWS client and Chief Technology Officer, Werner Vogels of AWS, to execute this creation. Additionally, feel free to watch on the AWS YouTube Channel HERE. Also, an interesting read HERE

Please don’t judge my sketches 😋️, they helped get the iconography animation flow across to client (CTO Werner Vogels & CD Randy Walker) before jumping into the design phase.

Amazon Web Services :: reMARS 2022

Role: Creative/Art Director

Be inspired by some of the brightest minds across science, academia and business as they share the latest research and scientific advancements, industry innovations, and their perspectives on how these domains will evolve. With mainstage keynotes from industry-leading speakers such as Swami Sivasubramanian, Vice President of Data and Machine Learning Services at AWS, you’ll hear ideas from the very edge of technological advancement.

re:MARS is a multi-day conference designed to drive thought leadership across the Machine Learning, Automation, Robotics and Space domains. By showcasing real-life applications of AI technologies from across AWS and beyond, we can inspire attendees to solve their own unique challenges—and maybe just change the world along the way.

As Senior Creative for Amazon Web Services, specifically “re:MARS 2022,” I directed an entire team of Editors, Art Directors and Animators for this live conference experience. I worked hands-on with animator Chris Cook (aka Too & Flow) with concepts, typography, creating and executing storyboards from which he gained motion design guidance. These animations were to compliment Amazon’s live script which is seen on screen at the conference center. The graphic animations were to facilitate such keynote expert speakers including Rohit Prasad (SVP and Head Scientist, Alexa AI, Amazon), Swami Sivasubramanian (VP, Data and ML Services, AWS) and Dilip Kumar (VP, Physical Retail and Technology, Amazon). Also, I supervised direction of the opening hype countdown video as seen below:
