Beyond the client work and project timelines, there is something more personal driving me. A steady, lifelong pull toward making art for its own sake. It is a practice that runs alongside my design career and informs it in quiet but essential ways.

My personal work lives in the tension between play and precision. It is where surrealism blends with Street Art, where color is pushed to extremes, sometimes impulsive, sometimes intentional, and ideas are allowed to stay raw and emotionally direct.

This is not a side hustle. It is how I stay connected to why I started creating in the first place. Under the name DUPPY, this is the space where I work without rules.

DUPPY X MR. PURPLE LES

In collaboration with Have A Nice Day Moto, I brought my work as DUPPY to the rooftop of the Hotel Indigo, transforming the MR. Purple venue into a living gallery. The show marked an ongoing residency where my paintings were exhibited in a high-traffic Lower East Side space, merging downtown nightlife with bold, expressive art. The partnership allowed me to explore themes of motion, rebellion, and surrealism—all in dialogue with the grit and energy of NYC. Hanging my work above the city skyline felt fitting for the DUPPY ethos: raw, elevated, and unapologetically personal. The residency blurred the lines between public space and personal vision, offering art in an unexpected, immersive setting.
